Story-telling Meeting of Women's Union Officials and Members

Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- Officials and members of the women's union had a story-telling meeting "The Motherland and I" at the Hall of Women on Sept. 7 to celebrate the 78th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Present there were women's union officials and members in Pyongyang.

Hearing the stories reminding one of the proud course of the Korean women who have grown up to be powerful forces responsible for the interests of the revolution under the loving care and trust of the peerlessly great men, the participants deeply felt the boundless gratitude to the Workers' Party of Korea and the social system of the DPRK which add eternal brilliance to the dignity and life of the women.

They were deeply moved to watch the video of devoted efforts of the women dedicating themselves to increased coal production together with their husbands with a resolve to repay the loving care of the benevolent father, who put forward the workers of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine and unfolded a grand blueprint for transforming coal-mine villages across the country.

Many women have assisted the People's Army, mindful of the immutable truth that happiness of each family and bright laughter of the rising generation are guaranteed by the powerful arms. Their beautiful deeds showed well the noble spiritual world of the women in our era. -0-
