Nampho Municipality Hosts Exhibition of Consumer Goods

Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- An exhibition of consumer goods was held in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK between July 15 and 18.

Exhibited there were more than 50 000 items of goods of over 890 kinds produced by more than 50 units in the municipality.

The exhibition featured processed seafood, soft drinks, liquid soaps, washing powders, dish-washing detergents, shampoos and clothes with regional characteristics, manufactured by foodstuff factories, daily necessities factories and garment factories in Onchon and Ryonggang counties.

Various kinds of plastic goods, garments and toys presented by the Kangson Vinyl Sheet Factory and other factories were popular among visitors.

Consumer goods production units in Taean District and the Taean Friendship Glass Factory exhibited bedclothes and glassware convenient to use and meet the needs of the people.

Going round the venue of the exhibition, So Chang Ryol, chief secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other officials in the municipality discussed measures to produce more quality consumer goods of different kinds. -0-
