Quality of Products Improved at Regional-industry Factories in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- Newly-built regional-industry factories and factories producing school uniforms, shoes and bags have actively shared and transferred advanced technology to increase the varieties of products and improve their qualities.

The Pukchang, Sinyang, Songchon and Kilju county foodstuff factories are boosting production by introducing inventions to improve the quality of goods.

The Unsan County Garment Factory raised the utility rate of equipment by 1.5 times to increase the production of clothes. Technicians and skilled workers of the Kujong County Garment Factory invented and introduced various kinds of jigs and equipment to improve the quality of products.

The Kangdong County Daily Necessities Factory established a new shampoo and rinse production process and increased the rotational speed of screws in the soap production process, thus increasing the production.

The Pyongyang, Phyongsong and Hamhung school uniform factories put the production on a scientific and modern basis by installing more digital sewing machines and steam generators.

The Pyongyang Schoolchildren's Footwear Factory has made successes by upgrading the shoe-making process and the Sariwon Schoolchildren's Footwear Factory has updated the performance of equipment to ensure quality in the production of shoes.
