Milk-producing Units Boost Milk Output

Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, dairies in the DPRK are raising grass-eating domestic animals in a more scientific way.

This year the national milk output has increased by 1.3 times as compared with the same period of last year.

They expanded the number of mother domestic animals of good breeds by introducing scientific anti-epizootic techniques. Cultivation of feed crops with high productivity is brisk and functional nutrients are applied to increase the production of cow milk.

They have steadily increased their milk production capacity by establishing advanced feed processing technology and introducing latest science and technology into the management of dairy cattle.

Advanced technology and good experience are being generalized amid an intensive campaign for scientific stockbreeding. -0-
