Exhibition in Sector of Intellectual Property-2026 Opens in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- An exhibition in the sector of intellectual property-2026 opened with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex on September 10.

The exhibition brought together over 370 units including Kim Il Sung University, the Paper Engineering Institute of the State Academy of Sciences, the Sangwon Cement Complex and the Hamhung Disabled Soldiers' Essential Plastic Goods Factory.

Presented to it were more than 1 600 inventions, patents, trademarks, industrial designs and copyrights highly appreciated at the regional intellectual property exhibitions.

During the exhibition, there will be an experience-sharing meeting of the units exemplary in intellectual property administration.

Present at its opening ceremony were Kim Sung Du, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and officials and working people of exhibitor units.

Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, made an opening address.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition. -0-
