Steak Restaurant Inaugurated in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- A steak restaurant was newly built and inaugurated with due ceremony in Kanggye City, Jagang Province of the DPRK, on Monday.

The restaurant with several hundred-seat service and dining rooms and an open-air steak service ground is located in the scenic spot on the bank of the picturesque Jangja River. People in the province will enjoy various traditional dishes with good taste and high nutritive value at this public catering establishment.

Present at the inauguration ceremony were Pak Song Chol, chief secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the province and Kanggye City, working people, builders and employees of the restaurant.

Sin Chang Gil, chairman of the provincial people's committee, addressed the ceremony. Then a speech was made.

After the ceremony the participants went round the restaurant.

The first service was given to the heroes, meritorious persons and labor innovators in the province. -0-
