Football Match Held to Mark National Liberation Day

Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- A men's football match between Taedonggang and Hwaebul teams took place at Kim Il Sung Stadium on August 15, the 81st anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Among the audience were senior Party and government officials, members of the National Sports Guidance Committee, leading officials of sports events sponsoring organizations, merited sportspersons, officials of ministries and national agencies and Pyongyang citizens.

In the match which began with the Hwaebul team's first kick, the footballers of both teams played the game vigorously, preserving their tactical intentions.

The Taedonggang Team beat its rival 4:0 in the match. -0-
