Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Greetings from Russian Party Leader

Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Comrade D. Medvedev, President of the United Russia Party, on September 8.

The message said:

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un,

I extend the warmest congratulations to you on the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The DPRK has achieved remarkable successes in building the state, strengthening its sovereignty and ensuring national security for the past decades.

The great changes I witnessed in Pyongyang during my visit in 2025 prove intuitively the successes achieved in implementing your line for the social and economic development of the country.

I am pleased with the fact that our states are struggling with united efforts to maintain the common stand on major international and regional issues in the present geopolitical challenge and establish a just world order in response to the neocolonialist line of the "Western group".

I hope that the multi-faceted cooperation for the well-being of the fraternal peoples of Russia and the DPRK, including the cooperation between the United Russia Party and the Workers' Party of Korea, will continue to grow stronger.
