National Sci-tech Presentation in Field of Medical Appliances Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation in the field of medical appliances took place at the Nampho Medical Appliances Factory from Aug. 12 to 14 under the sponsorship of the Korean Association of Medical Appliances of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Present at the presentation were officials, teachers, researchers and technicians of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Hamhung University of Pharmacology, the Nampho Municipal General Hospital, the North Hwanghae Provincial General Hospital and the Nampho Medical Appliances Factory. Tens of valuable papers were presented to the presentation.

Certificates were awarded to the participants in the presentation.

During the presentation there were a lecture on the "Application and developing trend of biosensor technology in the public health sector" and a visit to the Nampho Medical Appliances Factory. -0-
