Production Boosted in Building-materials Industrial Sector

Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- The building-materials industrial sector in the DPRK is directing efforts to the management of equipment and technical control to boost the production.

The Sangwon Cement Complex set a goal of technological innovation to increase the efficiency of equipment and has stepped up the work to secure parts necessary for improving the performance of equipment while setting up advanced database for increasing the production and improving the efficiency of dust collection.

The Sunchon Cement Complex has introduced innovative inventions to further improve the efficiency of crushing clinker and established a well-regulated system of checking and repairing equipment to boost the production.

The Chonnaeri Cement Factory, too, is making remarkable progress in increasing both quality and output of cement by directing primary efforts to the introduction of new technology to raise the plasticity capacity and improving the method of quality inspection.

The Taean Friendship Glass Factory laid a foundation for the production of ultraviolet screening glass and stained glass which can reduce the cost of products and increase the decorative effect by giving priority to management of equipment and technical control. It has also carried out its daily production plan of plate glass by operating machines at full capacity.

The Kanggye Building Materials Factory and the Huichon Tile Factory, too, have turned out plastic pipes and tiles of various sizes by installing efficient equipment in addition and putting the production processes on a streamlined basis. -0-
