Efforts for Improving Educational Conditions and Environment in Pyongyang

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- Minju Joson says that Pyongyang Municipality has made achievements in improving the educational conditions and environment of schools and kindergartens.

Mangyongdae District completed ahead of schedule the project for remodeling 10-odd schools and kindergartens planned for this year.

Not content with the modern construction of schools and kindergartens, the district is also providing educational facilities and fixtures by enhancing the role of the sponsoring organizations.

Phyongchon District is simultaneously pushing ahead with the construction projects planned at the beginning of the year and several additional projects.

Pothonggang, Taesong and other districts, too, are speeding up the construction of schools and kindergartens. -0-
