Foodstuff Factories in N. Hwanghae Province Boost Production

Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- Foodstuff factories in Unpha and Hwangju counties of North Hwanghae Province in the DPRK are vying with each other to develop and produce more quality goods typical of the peculiarities of their regions and units.

The Unpha County Foodstuff Factory regularly acquaints itself with the demand of the inhabitants for the products and makes tasty and nutritious products with dates and sweet potatoes harvested at the raw materials base.

The variety of the products has increased by four times as compared with the early days of operation.

The Hwangju County Foodstuff Factory has organized a technical innovation prize contest and a show and ensured that new products are subject to public evaluation, thus boosting the enthusiasm of producers. It produces various kinds of foodstuffs including peppered bean paste with glutinous rice and apple jam.

More than 20 kinds of breads produced by the factory are popular among the inhabitants. -0-
