National Sci-tech Presentation in Field of Poultry

Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation in the field of poultry took place at the Academy of Poultry Science from October 20 to 22, under the sponsorship of the Korean Poultry Association of the C.C., General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

It was aimed to widely disseminate and generalize the sci-tech successes and experience gained in steadily and continuously increasing the poultry production.

Attending it were officials, scientists and technicians of more than 10 units including Kim Il Sung University, Pyongyang University of Agriculture and the Pyongyang Poultry Production Bureau. The presentation heard dozens of papers for solving the scientific and technological problems arising in the poultry sector, including the breeding of supra-species, the production of protein feed, feed additives and substitute feed and putting the breeding on a sci-tech basis.

During the presentation, there was a technical lecture on the application of advanced technology in poultry breeding. -0-
