Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's Loving Care and Trust in Educators

Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- The DPRK puts forward the teachers as persons in direct charge of education and professional revolutionaries.

This time when the 15th National Conference of Teachers is being held, the people across the country are recollecting with deep emotion the immortal exploits of the peerlessly great man who has led the teachers to creditably discharge their honorable mission for bringing up the rising generations of the country.

Respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who pays deep attention to major meetings in the field of education, indicated the goal of bringing about a radical improvement in education and the tasks and ways for its realization and stressed the need to respect and treat preferentially the teachers in the whole society.

He said that the teachers are persons in direct charge of bringing about a radical improvement in education in the new century and that we would successfully bring about a radical turn in education by relying on the teachers, believing in them boundlessly faithful to the country and its people.

He unfolded a grand blueprint for further developing Kim Il Sung University into a world-class university and took measures for updating education, scientific equipment and IT at Kim Chaek University of Technology and provided its educators with modern houses.

During his visit to Pyongyang University of Architecture, he called upon the university to train many frontline soldiers for building a highly civilized socialist nation, saying that he would become the honorary president of the university and actively support it.

He visited newly-renovated Pyongyang Teachers Training College and expressed satisfaction, saying that he visualized the bright future of the country. That day he had a meaningful photo taken with its officials, teachers and students.

Under the care of the respected General Secretary, who regards education of the rising generation as the most important affair of the Party and the state, the teachers are full of enthusiasm to fulfill their responsibility as the frontline soldiers and professional revolutionaries of bringing about a radical improvement in education to build an educational power and a talent power. -0-
