Building Materials Exhibition Held in N. Hamgyong Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- A North Hamgyong provincial exhibition of building materials took place at the provincial sci-tech library from Sept. 16 to 18.

On display there were thousands of building materials in over 180 kinds presented by at least 40 building-materials production units in the province.

The exhibition marked a significant occasion in sharing experience and technologies, gained by strengthening the material and technical foundations at building-material production units, and guiding the development of the provincial building-materials industry through a drive for the home production of building materials and a strong competition for quality improvement.

Kim Tu Il, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other officials in the province went round the exhibition hall to discuss the ways for revitalizing the production of building materials. -0-
