National Taekwon-Do Amateur Games-2026 Held

Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- The National Taekwon-Do Amateur Games-2026 took place at the Taekwon-Do Hall in the DPRK from Aug. 9 to 14.

The games brought together more than 1 000 children, schoolchildren and working people selected from across the country.

The participants competed with each other in patterns, sparing matches and special technique competitions, divided into several classes according to ages. They fully displayed their physical and technical ability and good sportsmanship they have trained in the days of learning Taekwon-Do, the orthodox martial art.

Cups, medals and diplomas were awarded to the organizations and players who proved successful in the games. -0-
