DPRK SPA Standing Committee Sends Condolatory Message to Lao State Funeral Committee

Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- The Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea sent a message of condolence to the Lao state funeral committee on August 9 as regards the demise of Xaysomphone Phomvihane, former president of the National Assembly of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Expressing deep condolences to the National Assembly and people of Laos and the bereaved family, the message said that the feats performed by Xaysomphone Phomvihane in contributing to the Lao people's cause of building socialism and the development of the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries will always be remembered. -0-
