Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- A new sci-tech library has been built in Ryanggang Province of the DPRK.

The library with the modern architectural beauty built in Hyesan City, the northern border city of the country, has the conditions for information service, study and discussion, dissemination and exhibitions.

The completion of the provincial sci-tech library as a place of learning provided another powerful base for making all the people well versed in science and technology.

An inauguration ceremony took place on October 16.

Present there were officials, working people, youth and students in Ryanggang Province and Hyesan City and employees of the library.

Kim Chol Nam, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made an inaugural address at the ceremony. -0-
