Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- An official delegation of the Russian Federation led by Vyacheslav Volodin, speaker of the State Duma, visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum on April 26.

The delegation was accompanied by Kim Hyong Sik, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, and Vladimir Topeha, charge d'affaires ad interim of the Russian embassy here.

The delegation members went round various halls of the museum, being briefed on the fact that the army and people of the DPRK defeated the U.S. imperialists and honorably defended the freedom and independence of the country and the gains of the revolution under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, an invincible and iron-willed commander and outstanding military strategist. -0-
