Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize and Kim Il Sung Children Honor Prize were awarded to exemplary primary (sub-primary) youth league committees, officials and members of the youth league and members of the Korean Children's Union on the occasion of the greatest auspicious April holiday of the nation.

An awarding ceremony took place at the Youth League Hall on Tuesday.

Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize was conferred on 12 primary (sub-primary) youth league committees, 15 youth league officials and members that prepared the youth league organizations as genuine vanguard ranks faithful to the idea and leadership of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and fully displayed their wisdom, courage and patriotic devotion at every worksite of socialist construction.

Kim Il Sung Children Honor Prize was awarded to 95 KCU members who have distinguished themselves in study, organizational life, socio-political activities and do-good-thing movement. -0-
