He listened to the briefing at the room dedicated to the history of the factory and then went round various production lines of the factory to learn in detail about the state of technical equipment and production.

He looked with satisfaction at various kinds of foodstuffs churned out at the worksites with foodstuff processing equipment standing in rows.

While coming out of the production site of a work-team, he stopped his walking to see a watchword displayed on the door wall on the opposite side.

Written on it was "Self-reliance, Self-sufficiency".

When all the officials were looking up to him, he said that the watchword was the best one that pleased him.

Even looking at a small watchword, he highly appraised the ideological and moral qualities of the officials and employees of the factory determined to achieve everything under the uplifted banner of self-reliance.

He underscored the need to turn the factory into the Juche-based production base that realizes the production with locally raw and other materials by carrying out modernization for putting all the production lines on an automated, unmanned and germ-free basis more perfectly by dint of our technical forces, materials and equipment under the uplifted banner of self-reliance.

His high appraisal reflected the great trust and request of him who wants the officials and working people of the factory to continue giving full play to the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance. -0-
