Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- Pyongyang Teachers Training College is leading the Korean-style educational revolution while playing the role as a center of academic research and dissemination in the work to develop preschool education and primary school education and improve the teaching contents and methods of teachers training colleges.

The college is associated with the devoted efforts of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who unfolded the plan to turn our country into the one that gives top priority to education and has the most developed educational system in the world and is guiding the work for its realization.

On January 16, 2018, Kim Jong Un visited the newly-reconstructed Pyongyang Teachers Training College and stressed the importance of the duty of teachers training colleges in bringing about a radical improvement in education in the new century to glorify the country as the state of education and a talent power.

The officials, teachers and researchers of the college, mindful of the trust and expectation of the Workers' Party of Korea which put forward the college as a "pedigree farm" for training teachers, are exalting its honor as model unit in the higher educational sector.

The college has improved the instruction and edification by applying the research-type teaching and studying methods. It manufactured and sent robots for education of children to Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, Chilgol Revolutionary School, Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans and other schools and teachers training colleges and disseminated study aid books and education programs.

Many graduates of the college including those who were awarded the title of people's or merited teachers are devoting themselves to education. The college established a retraining system for teachers of primary schools and kindergartens in Pyongyang and teachers of training colleges across the country and has conducted the retraining for them in a planned way.
