Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- Personages of Romanian and Mexican political parties issued press statements on June 25 on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

The chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party (Romania) said that the Korean War was a merciless invasion by the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces against the young DPRK.

But they could not break the faith of the DPRK people led by President Kim Il Sung, distinguished leader, and annihilate the heroic people with the outstanding spirit of holding the dignity and honor of the country dearer than their own lives, the chairman said.

He respectfully paid tribute to President Kim Il Sung who wisely led the Korean people to win a great victory in the war.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico said:

We witness abnormal things happening in different parts of the world due to the U.S. evermore undisguised hegemonic ambition.

We denounce the reckless moves of the U.S. and its vassal forces to ignite a new war on the Korean peninsula and strongly demand that the U.S. forces withdraw from the ROK as soon as possible.

I extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle to frustrate the provocative war moves of the hostile forces and defend the sovereignty and peace of the country. -0-
