National Art Exhibition Opens to Celebrate Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- A national art exhibition opened in the DPRK to celebrate the 114th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

On display at the exhibition are pictures dealing with the noble revolutionary careers of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and the immortal exploits of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Also, there are photos showing the appearance of the country undergoing marvelous transformation and the ever-growing happiness of the people in the new era of prosperity and rejuvenation opened up by the Workers' Party of Korea's people-first politics.

An opening ceremony was held at the Korean Art Gallery on April 9.

Present there were Choe Chang Hak, first vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials and creators of ministries, national agencies, and fine art sector.

Minister of Culture Hyon Un Chol made an opening address.

The speaker declared the opening of the exhibition, expressing belief that it would offer a significant occasion for all the officials, Party members and other working people to more deeply grasp the immortal exploits of the peerlessly great men, and for injecting new confidence and vitality into the all-people general advance for implementing the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the WPK.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the exhibition hall. -0-
