Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Sok Ryo, a woman living in Neighborhood Unit No. 52, Ponbu-dong, Sinuiju City, North Phyongan Province of the DPRK, on her 100th birthday.

The centenarian, who received the birthday spread amid congratulations of officials of the Sinuiju City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and neighbours, expressed her gratitude to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un with excitement.

Born as a fisherman's daughter before the liberation of Korea, she had been subjected to all sorts of maltreatment and contempt while undergoing sorrow as a stateless nation. She could lead a worthwhile life only after President Kim Il Sung liberated Korea and built a genuine people's country.

Out of her mind to contribute to the prosperity of the country she devoted herself to her duty, and had done a lot of good things for the sake of the country even after becoming a pensioner.

She is always asking her descendants to work harder to defend and glorify the grateful socialist system. -0-
