Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Jang Ju Hyon, a woman living in Neighbourhood Unit No. 71, Sangbong Workers' District, Mundok County of South Phyongan Province, on her 100th birthday.

Receiving the birthday spread amid the congratulations by officials of the Mundok County Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Mundok County People's Committee and villagers, the centenarian expressed her deep gratitude to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who bestowed such benevolence on an ordinary old woman.

Born into a poor peasant's family, she grew up experiencing the sorrow of a stateless nation. It was not until the liberation of Korea that she could lead a genuine life.

With the resolve to repay the benevolence of the motherly Party and the state, she had devotedly worked at a revolutionary post to build a prosperous country for decades and brought up her children to be persons dedicating themselves to the national prosperity. -0-
