DPRK Women Hold Story-telling Meeting

Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- Women's union officials and members in the DPRK had a story-telling meeting "We will carry forward the brilliant traditions of the anti-Japanese war forever" at the Hall of Women on April 24 to mark the 93rd founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.

Present there were Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, women's union officials and its members in the capital city.

The speakers referred to the immortal feats of President Kim Il Sung who raised the anchor of the Juche revolution with the founding of the first genuine armed rank of Korea and led the revolutionary cause for the freedom and liberation of the country and the people to victory.

The first generation of the revolution who created the unprecedented resistance history still tells us that the succession to the revolution is not merely a succession but an inheritance of the fighting spirit and vigorous indomitable faith, the speakers said, calling upon all the women's union members to firmly prepare themselves to be persons strong in ideology and faith who devotedly defend the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un as the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters did.

They called for making a positive contribution to consolidating in every way the military muscle of the country with the pride that no one in the world can match the Korean People's Army thanks to Kim Jong Un who is glorifying forever the outstanding military ideas of the peerlessly great men and ushering in a golden age of building the revolutionary armed forces. -0-
