Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- South Phyongan Province of the DPRK completed the overhauling of thousands of threshing machines in a short span of time.

The province has ensured that the provincial level organs and industrial establishments help repair and readjust the threshing machines.

Cities and counties, too, launched the work to repair and readjust farm machines by mobilizing industrial establishments and strengthening the role of farm machine stations and farm mechanization workteams.

As a result, thousands of threshing machines were repaired and readjusted in the province just in 20 days.

Meanwhile, the farms put efforts into securing spare parts to provide a guarantee for the full operation of threshing machines. Progress has been made in preparing medium and small farm implements needed for harvesting. -0-
