Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Memorial meetings, film shows and book and photo exhibitions took place in Pakistan, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Britain, Austria, Iceland, Finland, Serbia, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and Mexico from December 7 to 15 on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Present at the events were personages of political and social circles and citizens of those countries.

Screened at the film shows were documentary films dealing with the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il, the outstanding leader of the Korean revolution and world elder statesman, and videos showing the proud picture of the DPRK ushering in a new era of the overall development of socialism.

Speeches were made at the events.

Messages to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the memorial events held in Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Iceland and Finland. -0-
