One day in May 2018, the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected the completed Koam-Tapchon Railways.

He looked with satisfaction at the Sokjonman Bridge extending across Sokjon Bay between the Koam area in Munchon City and the Songjon peninsula.

Then he went round the Sokjonman Bridge. After stressing the need to properly manage the railways and structures, he looked at the railways and the sidewalks alternately and said that there was one thing to regret.

Officials looked at each other, not knowing the reason.

The respected Comrade General Secretary told the officials that there was no roadway.

He said that if the bridge had been widened for motorcars, it would have been a very good bridge. And he proposed a good idea for turning the bridge into multi-purpose one for the operation of railway trains and motorcars, saying that there is nothing impossible to do when one is determined and that if the bridge is made to operate motorcars, the bridge will become a utility one to raise the economic efficiency.

It was, indeed, a good idea of gaining many benefits with one thing.

Afterwards, the builders made the Sokjonman Bridge multi-purpose for trains and motorcars in a short span of time as taught by the respected Comrade General Secretary, and the area was further changed by decoration. -0-
