Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- Agricultural officials and workers in the DPRK are pushing ahead with the immediate work for sowing rice seeds in nurseries.

Officials and agricultural workers in North Phyongan Province have completed the sowing of rice seeds in nurseries by mobilizing all forces and means.

Agricultural workers in Sinuiju City and Kwaksan and Ryongchon counties carried out their daily plans, providing the necessary farming materials and giving priority to seed treatment.

Haeju City and Unryul and Anak counties in South Hwanghae Province are sowing rice seeds in large areas every day while putting their seed disinfection and sprouting on a scientific and technological basis and ensuring the sowing quantity according to different varieties.

Sariwon City and Junghwa and Hwangju counties of North Hwanghae Province worked out seed-sowing plans according to every field and plot and introduced scientific farming methods to provide the environments good for growth.

Agricultural workers in South Phyongan and North and South Hamgyong provinces, too, are sowing rice seeds while increasing the operation rate of farm machines and meeting technical requirements in every process. -0-
