Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- The 2024 Sports Contest among Officials of National Agencies came to a close in the DPRK.

Such events as volleyball (man), table tennis, tug-of-war, Taekwon-Do and hurdle-overcoming were held in different places of Pyongyang from March 5.

Taking the first place in total group standings were teams of the State Planning Commission, the Foreign Trade Bank, the Taesong Bank and the Radio-Television Broadcasting Committee of the DPRK.

A closing ceremony took place at the Taekwon-Do Hall on March 27.

Present there were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, Kim Myong Gun, chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, officials concerned and officials and players of commissions, ministries and national agencies exemplary in mass sports activities.

At the closing ceremony, the total standings and standings in each event were announced and citations and medals were awarded to the organizations and players who proved successful.
