Many People Visit Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong

Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- On the occasion of the significant April 25, the whole country is paying respects to the first generation of the revolution who handed down the precious ideological and spiritual treasures that will never be changed to the descendants of this land.

Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, Ri Hi Yong and Sin Yong Il, secretaries of the Central Committee of the WPK, and other officials of the Party, government and military, and officials of the WPK Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, the Cabinet and the armed forces organs visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong on April 25.

Bereaved children of the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs and anti-Japanese patriotic martyrs, and the teaching staff and students of revolutionary schools also visited the cemetery.

All the participants paid silent tribute to the revolutionary martyrs who devoted their precious lives to the sacred cause of national liberation and the people's happiness.

Then the participants looked round the cemetery.

The participants laid flowers before the busts of the martyrs and paid high tribute to them, solemnly recollecting the undying feats of the revolutionary forerunners, who created the heroic history of struggle against the imperialist tyranny with self-reliance by holding in high esteem President Kim Il Sung as the centre of unity and leadership and laid a foundation of building a rich country with a strong army by creating the ever-victorious precious tradition. -0-
