Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- Prof. and Dr. Sin Kyong Il, dean of the hydraulic engineering faculty of Hamhung University of Hydraulic Engineering, is one of the DPRK's best scientists and technicians for 2025.

He perfected in our own way the three-dimensional calculation method, which had been a knotty problem in scientifically and accurately assessing the safety of concrete gravitational dams for many years.

The calculation method made it possible to raise the national disaster-prevention capability and put the operation of hydro-power stations on a scientific basis to produce more electricity. -0-
