National Exhibition of Children's Science Fiction Models and Inventions-2026 Opens in DPRK

Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- The National Exhibition of Children's Science Fiction Models and Inventions-2026 opened with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex in the DPRK on June 2 to mark the 80th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union.

Presented to the exhibition were science fiction models and inventions associated with the efforts of schoolchildren who have studied to their heart's content and made researches with the dream and hope of becoming scientists and inventors for glorifying the socialist country.

Present at the ceremony were Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials of the youth league and schoolchildren.

Paek Un Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made an opening address.

He stressed the need for all schoolchildren to study hard and prepare themselves to be competent revolutionary talents with many-sided knowledge and high creative ability, always mindful of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un's teachings that the criterion of young revolutionary and young patriot is the report cards of full mark.

At the end of the ceremony, its participants looked round the venue of the exhibition. -0-
