Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- The DPRK ambassador to Cuba paid a farewell call on the president of the Republic of Cuba on March 16.

President Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez asked Ambassador Ma Chol Su to convey his greetings of warm friendship to Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Noting that he visited the DPRK in November 2018 and met with the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and was accorded cordial hospitality, the Cuban president expressed the stand of the Cuban party and government to invariably develop the historic tradition and relations between the DPRK and Cuba building socialism against the U.S. imperialists, their common enemy.

The ambassador also paid a farewell call on the president of the Council of Ministers of Cuba, the organizational secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, the president of the National Assembly of People's Power and concurrently president of the Council of State, the minister of Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba and the Cuban foreign minister. -0-
