Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Dental Hygiene Products Factory in the DPRK is associated with the loving care of the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un who is regarding it as his disposition to make selfless, devoted efforts for the people and spare nothing for the promotion of their wellbeing.

The factory, built under the direct initiative and meticulous guidance of the respected Comrade General Secretary, is a comprehensive dental hygiene products base equipped with modern production processes.

On June 19, 2017, he visited the newly-built factory and gave precious instructions for putting the production on a normal footing at a high level, saying that it is a factory actively contributing to the promotion of the people's health and the one that he attaches great importance.

The technicians and workers of the factory have made successes in developing new products and improving their quality.

Thanks to their efforts, many functional dental hygiene products including toothpastes and mouth gargles have been developed and produced to help people in their dental treatment.

Kaesong Koryo Insam toothpaste, active nutritive toothpaste and other products were registered as February 2 goods and awarded the December 15 Quality Medal. And its various production processes received GMP authentication.

The products of the factory drew attention of many people at the light industrial goods exhibition "Development of Light Industry-2023" and the national exhibition of scientific and technological achievements in public health-2025.

The factory was selected as one of the ten best enterprises in 2023 and received rotating pennant and certificates several times as it fulfilled its annual national economic plans.

Now the technicians and workers of the factory are striving to develop and produce quality dental hygiene goods in larger quantities. -0-
