Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- Ballet performance by the art troupe of the Maritime Territory Branch of the Mariinsky Theatre of Russia has been given at the Mansudae Art Theatre here every day.

The performers successfully represented ballet pieces well known to the world, demonstrating the ability of a prestigious art organization.

The performance was acclaimed by the audience as it showed well the development of the Russian ballet through the traditional and attractive dance skills and emotional and refined musical interpretation of classical and modern ballets.

After the performance, the audience clapped for the performers and presented bouquets to them who gave an impressive performance with the Russian people's warm feelings of friendship towards the DPRK people.

A floral basket was conveyed to the performers in congratulation of their successful performance.

Among the audience were Minister of Culture Sung Jong Gyu, officials of ministries, national agencies and relevant units and artistes.

Members of the diplomatic corps here were invited to the performance. -0-
